Ford is finally dipping its hand into electric as it enters its Ford Mustang Mach-E in the Philippine market by the third quarter of the year. This is formally revealed by Ford Philippines managing director Pedro Simoes himself during a get-together Father’s Day party recently at the Pink’s Salcedo in Makati.
The Mustang Mach-E will kick-off Ford’s electrification journey in the Philippines this year since it is a first ground-up all-electric vehicle that combines performance, range, and technology.
Simoes is very excited of the reveal since the Ford Mustang Mach-E is doing great in the US and in several countries where it was introduced earlier.
“It is only fitting that we take our big leap in our electrification journey with an iconic Ford vehicle. The arrival of the Mach-E reinforces Ford as a credible and must-watch player in the electric vehicle (EV) segment in the country. With a continuously growing community of Mustang owners in the Philippines, the Mustang Mach-E will surely give enthusiasts an electrified experience like no other,” Simoes added.
The Mustang took the world by storm in 1964 and it quickly represented the best of the American spirit — freedom, progress, performance and a touch of rebellion.
Simoes also said that more details including specific features, variants, pricing, and official availability in Ford dealerships will be shared closer to launch.
