Manila Water releases January 2026 desludging schedule to help customers start the year clean and healthy

Manila Water is encouraging customers across the East Zone to start 2026 with a clean and healthy home environment as the company releases its desludging schedule for January 2026. The company continues to remind customers that regular septic tank cleaning is essential in safeguarding both household hygiene and community sanitation, especially at the beginning of the year when many families reset routines and prepare their homes for the months ahead.

The January 2026 schedule covers selected barangays across the East Zone of Metro Manila as well as towns and cities in Rizal.

This January, Manila Water desludging trucks will be deployed in the following barangays: Pansol, Alicia, Bagong Pag-asa, Bagumbayan, and Dioquino Zobel in Quezon City; Sta. Cruz, Bagong Nayon, and San Luis in Antipolo City; San Juan in Cainta; Geronimo, San Jose, and San Isidro in Rodriguez (Montalban); Silangan, Ampid 1, and Santo Nino in San Mateo; New Lower Bicutan and Lower Bicutan in Taguig City; Barangka, Calumpang, Concepcion Uno, Malanday, Marikina Heights, Parang, San Roque, and Tumana in Marikina City; and Wack-Wack in Mandaluyong City.

Manila Water’s scheduled desludging service is offered at no additional cost to its customers. The service helps prevent wastewater from overflowing into drains or waterways, supports proper sanitation practices at home, and reduces the risk of waterborne diseases. The company urges its customers to have their septic tanks siphoned every five years.

“Regular desludging may seem like a small task, but it has a big impact on keeping households healthy and communities protected. As we welcome 2026, we encourage our customers to take advantage of our septic tank cleaning services, at no additional cost, so we can work together in keeping our environment clean and safeguarding our waterways,” Manila Water’s Communication Affairs Group Director Jeric Sevilla said

Customers are encouraged to check their service availability through their barangay offices or the official Manila Water social media channels. They may also ensure their septic tanks are accessible by clearing the area around the septic tank cover before the desludging team arrives.

For updates and advisories, customers may follow Manila Water’s official social media pages or contact the Customer Care Hotline 1627.
