Just last May, 5 of them romped off with various prestigious awards in the Mitsubishi Aftersales Conference held at the Mitsubishi main office in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. They were Gateway Fairview, Gateway Sucat, Gateway Quezon Avenue, Gateway Matina, Davao, and Gateway Negros. In the 22nd Mitsubishi Skills Olympics held last year also in Laguna, Daryl Afable of Mitsubishi Gateway Quezon Avenue was adjudged the champion in the Technician Category (Nationwide).

Before the new Mitsubishi vehicle is taken out of the Gateway Mitsubishi dealership, the new owner undergoes familiarization with his or her new prized possession. And these include how to properly take care of the vehicle through the so-called preventive maintenance services or PMS that the car needs under the hands of the dealership’s various technicians. The dealership prescribes that the owner follows the scheduled PMS while it is under warranty of 3 to 5 years.

“In all Gateway Mitsubishi dealerships, we make sure that the PMS are followed strictly as we have staff that closely monitors all the vehicles that leave their respective dealerships every day. They make sure that the owners are often reminded of their responsibilities to attend to their vehicles in order for them to have a trouble-free owning of their Mitsubishi vehicles,” Jimenez said.

The service deluxe that the owners get from their respective Gateway dealership is more than enough for them to bring them back their vehicles on scheduled PMS rather than bring them to other so-called “casa” in order to get cheaper expenses.

Take the case of Sharon Cabuyoc Ruado, who bought her brand-new Mitsubishi Xpander at the Mitsubishi Quezon Avenue (whose general manager is Randie Tungol). She made it a point that she follows the PMS schedule on her vehicle’s book strictly. “My car is more than a year old now and it is performing superbly, thanks to the aftersales service that I get from the dealership. Wala akong problema dahil ang babait ng mga staff doon at hindi ako nagkaroon ng problema kahit minsan. I’m a very satisfied customer and I am not very particular with the price that I pay for the maintenance of my car. I know that I get quality parts and services in exchange for my money and my car is running superbly because of that. Alam ko tinutumbasan nila ang tiwalang ibinibigay ko sa kanila,” Sharon said.

Jocelyn Tingzon, the Aftersales Head for all Gateway Dealerships, have mentioned that all Gateway Mitsubishi dealerships in Metro Manila now has a 60-minute Periodic Maintenance Service. “This is what we call the Mitsubishi Motors Quick Service in which you can have your PMS in a few steps in just 1 hour. And we guarantee it in all our Metro Manila showrooms,” Tingzon said.
