After an online feud, professional surfer and sportsman Philmar Alipayo has reconciled with actress Andi Eigenmann.
“It went all way too far and should have been handled in private,” said Philmar in an online note.
“Ok na kami sanan (We are alright),” Alipayo quipped in his Facebook wall posted with a reel on him, Andi and kids Koa ang Lilo having fun.
“Ok ra kami (We are okay already,” he exclaimed.
Moments before the reconciliatory digital messages, Andi posted on her Instagram cryptic, stream of consciousness thoughts on herself and her children. “Groundhog week??,” she started the posts with an emoji of a hurtful or irritated face and a timeout sign.
“What showing up dor myself and the kids have been like lately. Finding gratitude in the simplest things. (Filed under: lessons in grief) – this song has been stuck in my head – new fave morning lit-work spot!! @saintthomascoffee – the light(ing) of new beginnings-an old family recipe that feels just like a hearty warm hug in a cup. – a korean version of a hearty warm hug in a cup! @gastereakoreanrestaurant is a quaint authentic korean restaurant along my neighborhood! – Koa and his knack for reviewing which type of dinosaurs he already has. – some homeschool fuel for the kids! – who else gets motivated for fitness when they get dressed for it?? -kabataan with emojis of another hurtful or irritated face and a blazing sun.”
They seemed poetic, symbolic and profound about situations in a family.
As if saying, “what after the reconciliation”?
The Philmar-Andi rift stemmed from posts by Eigenman that she was “betrayed” by a friend.
Even if the accusation was nameless, it pointed out later that it was a Swedish woman named Pernilla Sjoo who visited Siargao Island where Philmar and Andi live.
It turned out that an online photo of Pernilla and Alipayo beside each other, their arms stretched out side by side with identical designs, had circulated online from a post by the Swedish lady.
Sjoo reacted passionately against Andi’s posts even without mentioning her name. “I just don’t understand why some people have so much hate in their minds and bodies. I hope that if you ever make a hurtful comment, you can still sleep peacefully at night and smile knowing you’ve caused someone pain. I’m still human din naman. I still feel hurt, and when it’s too much, it cuts deep.
“I hope you never become the reason someone cries themselves to sleep or question their worth—asking why they weren’t good enough,” Pernilla lamented in her socmed territories.
All social media accounts with Pernilla Sjoo as owner are now deleted.
Meanwhile, content creator Crissa Liaging, who was once romantically linked with Philmar said she was gritting her teeth with irritation about the controversy hounding Alipayo and Eigenmann.
She complained about being bashed during the time she was caught chummy with Philmar in Siargao which she found unfair.
How soon would Alipayo as a man get embroiled again in a mess like these?
