Music conductor Robert Delgado has been involved in the local Tin Pan Alley for almost four decades and his experiences in musical shows are invaluable especially in choral group singing.
Robert had been a teamwork player and member of the Philippine Madrigal Singers, or simply Madz, where he composed, arranged and inspired a lot of songs by the group even after he left it.
Delgado’s records could stand professionally and expertly in choir singing that also motivated him to organize the very first Palawan International Choral Festival (PICF) to be held in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan from August 13 to 16, 2025. The summit will be composed of exhibitions by local choirs and competition among national and international choral groups. To participate, log on to www.nafci.com or email at filipinochoirs@gmail.com.
Independently, Delgado, president of the National Association of Filipino Choirs, Inc. (NAFCI) has been conducting workshops of many music disciplines.
He is also already a world-renowned conductor having led and conducted foreign choirs in the country and overseas.
Robert recently held the baton for the Philippine Male Singers and the Thessalonian Evangelical Singers.
He is also the official conductor of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Choral. (Boy Villasanta)
