Anya covers seven hectares located on the quieter side of the Tagaytay-Calamba Road. Architects and designers have worked to create indoor and outdoor spaces that inspire inner peace, joy and comfort.

Anya Resort & Residences features a contemporary tropical design. The interiors express the warmth of the traditional Filipino architectural style. The earthy color scheme—with splashes of bright hues—engages the senses. Materials are kept as natural where possible, allowing the elemental beauty of local finishes, such as bamboo and abaca, to shine through.

Outdoors, Anya’s grounds include pocket gardens, streams and brooks, and pathways of stone and wood. Areas have been allocated for yoga, meditation and other healthy activities. Other amenities include a spa, gym, swimming pools and a borderless library, where residents can take out a book or e-reader and read anywhere within the resort.

“The designers have paid close attention to details, down to creating the appropriate levels in acoustics in every area. The lighting considers the guests’ wake and sleep cycles. We even made sure that the seats will keep you comfortable during those long hours of reading,” Elizalde said.

For dining, guests can choose Samira Terrace Restaurant’s romantic private-dining setting or the more casual Café Amra & Lounge and the Pizzeria Anila. Anya can also create special vegetarian meals for those with specific dietary requirements. All dishes are prepared by highly trained chefs, who use ingredients sourced from the best local suppliers.

To make the guests’ stay worry-free, the resort’s unique Ask-Anya-Assistant allows them to make arrangements before they arrive, such as laying out particular linens or scheduling spa treatments. The concierge will also be available on call during their stay and can even be tasked to unpack and pack their luggage.

Other services include poolside pampering, spa treatments, round-the-clock security and maintenance, event planning and catering, wireless-fidelity Internet, valet parking, laundry and housekeeping.

Anya is managed by Fuego Hotels and Properties Management Corp., a company with extensive experience in providing hotel and resort management solutions. Anya’s hotel phase is scheduled to open in December 2015.
