Sunshine Place collaborates once more with artist Sir Jen Consumido to offer Fundamentals of Drawing Workshop from February 4 – March 11,2025.
The course focuses on an academic approach in learning about traditional drawing, aiming to impart knowledge and techniques for developing drawing skills using various traditional media.
The objective is to enhance observation skills, while also guiding students to translate what they see into drawn representations with precision and creativity. The workshop follows a structured outline covering key topics such as Line, Shape, Form, Tone, Texture, Space, and Perspective.
It is open to 12 years old and older and will be conducted on Tuesdays from 2:00-5:00 pm. Starter kits are available at the venue.
Sir Jen, a self-taught artist shares his knowledge and skills acquired through workshops and tutorials. Although he does his work in every medium available, he promotes watercolor as a fine art medium.
