The Gateway Group inaugurated Honda Cars Talisay, its newest car dealership right in the heart of its hometown Cebu, last Thursday which was fully attended by top officials of Honda Cars Philippines and the Gateway Group.
It is the fifth Honda dealership under the Gateway Group and very sentimental for the Goho Family as it right in the heart of its hometown Cebu along the very busy highway which features the booming automotive row.
For Honda Cars Philippines, the new Honda Cars Talisay is an important part of its strategic expansion plan as it aims for four more new dealerships nationwide before the end of the year.
Occupying some 2,800 sqm of the sprawling 1.5 hectares of land that also house two other Japanese car brands, the Honda Cars Talisay is the first Gateway Group dealership to feature a distinctive design, with the showroom and service reception housed in separate buildings. This layout aims to enhance the overall customer experience, ensuring a dedicated space for either sales or after-sales interactions.
“We are so very happy that inauguration of Talisay is a well-attended one as we have the top officials of the Honda Cars Philippines together with our friends from the media who came all the way from Manila and other familiar friends and colleagues who were with us since we started the Gateway Group several years back,” said Gateway Group chairman Markane Goho. He was assisted by his brother and Gateway Group vice president Michael and their mother and Gateway Group director Estrella in welcoming the guests.

Other Honda Cars Philippines officials present were: Edipollo Anastacio, HCPI Customer Service general manager: HCPI Sales general manager Aizza Flores; Futoshi Kumekawa, senior assistant vice president and adviser for sales; Yugo Konishi, assistant vice president and adviser for customer service.
On the other hand, other top Gateway Group officials on hand were: Chuck Gorospe, finance vice president; business development vice president Alvin Lu; Gateway Group Honda brand head and GM Annee Pili; vice president Buddy Arancon;. Jho Tingzon, vice president – Aftersales; Rommel Samadan, vice president – dealer development; and GM Jacques Estolla.
