Such is the philosophy being espoused by Maddox Jewelry founder Charo Cordial. She believes that ordinary Filipinos should have the capacity to buy jewelry pieces at affordable prices, allowing them to feel a bit more confident and glowing.
Maddox Jewelry celebrated its fifth anniversary July 30 by staging Maddox Iconic Runway: Diamond Jewelry Fashion Show 2026 at Edsa Shangri-La, Manila.
The glittery show featured 41 movie icons showcasing the brand’s latest diamond collections. Divided into four segments—Icons of Form & Radiance, Icons of Brilliance & Elegance, Icons of Timelessness, and Icons of Legacy—the star-studded show featured celebrities across generations, including Ryza Cenon, Diego Loyzaga, AJ Raval, Aljur Abrenica, Kris Bernal, Katrina Halili, Diana Zubiri, Ara Mina, Beauty Gonzales, Pokwang, Claudine Barretto, Amy Austria, Jackie Lou Blanco, Roderick Paulate, and Carmi Martin, among others.
Claudine Barretto strutted the runway in an elegant gown, complemented by a timeless diamond jewelry piece from Maddox.
Beauty Gonzales exuded grace and elegance in a high-slit gown paired with dazzling diamond jewelry, her radiant presence captivating the audience from afar.
Pokwang effortlessly won over the crowd with her playful antics and confidently recovered after briefly losing her balance on the runway, shining bright like a diamond.
Roderick Paulate and Carmi Martin capped off the evening with a lively runway walk to “Together Forever,” grooving to the music and energizing the audience with their contagious chemistry. Their presence together on one stage brought back nostalgic memories of their former musical-variety TV show, Tonight with Dick and Carmi.
Named after founder and president Charo Cordial’s son, Maddox Jewelry is a Marikina-based jewelry brand that offers natural diamond pieces at accessible prices. Cordial said the company positions itself as the cheapest natural diamond supplier in the Philippines.
Before entering the jewelry industry, Cordial worked as a licensed agricultural engineer. She shared that the foundation of the business was built on trust, saying, “Itong business na ’to sa Maddox nag-umpisa sa trust—tiwala.”
That same philosophy continues to guide the brand. “Confidence is not defined by status, age, and background,” Cordial said, reflecting Maddox Jewelry’s belief that confidence is timeless and that everyone deserves to shine. She added, “Luxury should be beautiful, meaningful, and within reach.”
As Maddox Jewelry marks its fifth year, the brand continues its mission of leaving a lasting mark and inspiring others through its jewelry and the stories behind it.
