Actor Dante Rivero is finally discharged from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City.
This was announced by Dante’s fellow actor Janice Jurado.
According to Janice, Rivero, Luisito Ramos Meyer, Jr. in real life, is out of danger but he needs to be transferred to an ordinary room.
After a couple of attempts to pay him a visit, Jurado has finally found time to go to EAMC and see the actor in person who is now confined to a regular room.
In her video screened in her Facebook My Day app which isn’t available anymore, the actress uploaded the reel of Dante on his sickbed.
“Okay naman ako. Lalabas na ako (I am okay now. I can now go home),” said Rivero smiling.
After that visit, Janice didn’t have updates of the health situation of the actor.
Wednesday afternoon, PH Insider asked Jurado if Dante was already out of the hospital.
“Hindi ko po alam (That I don’t know),” responded Janice in her FB Messenger.
Meanwhile, entertainment reporter Renz Spangler in his digital spaces said that he has spoken to one of Dante’s sons.
“I just spoke earlier with Tito Dante Rivero’s son and he said that his dad is in good condition now. He is safe, stable, and being monitored well by his doctors. He’s in a regular room and waiting to be discharged anytime,” wrote Renz.
Spangler clarified that Dante did not suffer a stroke as surmised by Janice in my interview with her but a flu as mentioned by the actor’s son.
“He was brought to the ICU as a precautionary measure and for closer monitoring, not because of a critical condition,” said the son which was echoed by Renz in his FB wall.
