This month, Bonifacio Global City’s (BGC) streets come alive as countless retail and office buildings, all bedecked with red, glistening ribbons, transform into larger-than-life Christmas presents waiting to be unwrapped, while the main-avenue lamp posts and BGC buses are adorned with beaming bows that bring holiday cheer all over the city.
In true and quirky BGC fashion, even the traffic lights are glowing, with green Christmas trees to tell you when to go and red stars for when it’s time to stop.
The district’s main centerpiece this season, though, is a 50-foot Christmas tree decorated with sparkling ornaments and standing tall at Bonifacio High Street, complemented by a massive gift-box train—an instant hit and favored selfie spot for BGCitizens, families, and guests.
Great as the tree is, the most exciting new attraction in the district this year is BGC’s Epic Sights & Sounds Spectacle at the Bonifacio High Street Park. It’s not your typical lightshow, not like the ones you see in other estates.
More than a showcase of illuminations and decorations, the Epic Sights & Sounds Spectacle is a full production: concert-quality, multicolored strobe lights and moving heads dance in perfect harmony with over-the-top, world-class musical scoring from international composer Brock Snow, a third-year major of film scoring at the Virginia-based Liberty University who’s also a cellist for the Liberty University Symphony Orchestra.
The Epic Sights & Sounds Spectacle is sure to be an audiovisual treat that’s perfect for BGC’s young, vibrant, and millennial-driven community.
Catch this one-of-a-kind show at the Bonifacio High Street Park, fronting Italianni’s restaurant, until December 26. It runs every 30 minutes, between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. daily.
