Xpress Superapp, one of the Philippines’ fastest-growing mobility platforms, is having a big driver recruitment operation in line with the company’s commitment to deliver reliable transportation solutions while providing stable livelihood opportunities for thousands of Filipino drivers.
The initial salvo will be held from Aug. 15-20 at its newly-built Xpress Paranaque Hub with over 1,500 slots open to all professional drivers who are wanting to have a steady job. The initiative aims to expand Xpress transport network ahead of the Christmas time while providing flexible livelihood opportunities for Filipinos during the year’s busiest economic period.
During the said period, the Xpress Paranaque Hub, located at 846 West Service Road, KM 18, South Super Highway, is open to all walk-in applicants in which the entire hiring process will be done within one day — from screening, skills testing, safety training, to job offer — and even walk out as a newly employed by the company.
With more than 750 ready-to-roll out BYD hybrid Sealion 5 and Sealion 6 available, Xpress is hiring a full-time driver, unlike those who are employed in several ride-hailing apps providers in the country.
“We are offering real employment to all successful applicants who will get monthly salaries and full government benefits. It’s like they are employed within the company and they will be treated as exclusive employees of the company. They can get as much as P30,000 a month,” said Rozzette Reyes from the Xpress human resources department.
Meanwhile, Xpress head of transport operations Roberto Belda, said the company would like to deliver reliable transport solutions with trusted drivers onboard their vehicles. “Our scheme is very much different with the current style of the various TNVS in treating their respective drivers. We will be giving safety training and long-term support to all our successful applicants who will work exclusively for us so they concentrate in giving the best to all our customers. They will also be given exclusive trainings on how to treat our customers as we work closely with the Department of Tourism,” Belda said.
Belda added that Xpress will be providing all the vehicles and the necessary fuels and their drivers would not need to worry about the “boundary” and the cost of the fuel. “Just like any employees, they are only required to work for 8 hours plus 2 hours for overtime. They have a salary to get and other work benefits just like any other employees who are working for the company,” Belda said.
During the Aug. 16-20 job fair at the Xpress Paranaque Hub, according to Rozzette Reyes, daily raffle draws will be held with fun prizes up for grabs while another raffle in November for those who will be hired from August to October (one gets a raffle ticket each) can win exciting prizes such as a brand-new motorcycle, smartphones, Mic Rider intercoms, and many others.
Interested applicants needs to bring the original and photocopy of their professional drivers license and NBI clearance (or official receipt) or they can pre-register through the QR code provided in Xpress’ official social media accounts to get an assured slot – Facebook: Xpress; TikToTok: @xpressphilippines; Instagram: and @xpressphilippines
Xpress is an LTFRB-accredited Transport Network Company and has partnered with LGUs and top EV brands like BYD, Jetour, and Hyundai to promote sustainable mobility solutions. Its recent expansion into Bataan included the rollout of electric vehicles and the opening of 150 new TNVS slots, demonstrating its commitment to inclusive growth and environmental responsibility.
A proud affiliate of the P.J. Lhuillier Group of Companies, Xpress Superapp is a homegrown platform currently offering ride-hailing services through Xpress Ride. Eventually, it plans to introduce a full suite of services, including Xpress Eats (food delivery), Xpress Send (courier), Xpress Mart (grocery), and Xpay (digital payments). It currently operates in Metro Manila, Cavite, Boracay, Bataan, Bulacan and Pampanga, with plans to expand further into key regional hubs.
