Vince Rillon opens 2022 with not only 6 but 7 films

It’s no usual feat that an actor is featured in six years to screen worldwide.

You wouldn’t believe it but this is really happening with Vince Rillon, a twenty-three-year star discovery of internationally acclaimed director Brillante Ma. Mendoza.

Vince who got the first taste of movie acting in “Captive” where he shared the screen with Hollywood and French actress Isabelle Huppert. Then it was followed by a lot of impressive works like “Ma’Rosa,” “Bahage,” “Amo,” “Resbak,” “Gensan Punch,” “Rainbow’s Sunset,” “Mindanao” etc.

Most of these films Rillon starred were shown in prestigious international film festivals.

In 2022, Vince is set to hit the screen no matter live streaming with not only six but seven films all in a row or one after the other.

“Siklo,” a foray into the life of a delivery man who gets entangled romantically with one of his receivers of items directed by Roman Perez, premieres early next year in Vivamax.

The next three fares to be shown in 2022 are also Perez-directed projects like “Iskandalo,” “L” and a remake of the cult classic “Bilibid Boys.”

They are to be followed with Mendoza’s BL (Boys’ Love) thriller drama “Sisid” which also features Paolo Gumabao and Kylie Versoza.

After Brillante’s masterpiece, Vince’s “Bigwas,” a thesis on underground fighting will also see action in 2022 while “Pula,” an expose of police brutality in the countryside which is also scheduled to screen next year.

“Nakakaba po pero sana, makita ng mga tao ang pagsisikap kong makapagbigay ng aliw at inspirasyon sa mga tao (It’s quite edgy but I hope the public would see my perseverance in bringing entertainment and inspiration to the audience),” said Vince.
