The Leave Nobody Hungry Foundation Inc. (LNHFI) remains steadfast in its mission to extend a helping hand to less fortunate individuals and underserved communities, particularly those in remote areas that are often beyond the reach of assistance. Guided by compassion and a commitment to public service, the foundation believes that every Filipino deserves access to food, clothing, and, most importantly, opportunities for a better and more sustainable future.
While providing immediate relief is essential, LNHFI recognizes that long-term solutions are equally important. Beyond distributing basic necessities, the foundation aims to establish livelihood programs that will empower families to achieve sustainable income and secure permanent sources of employment. These initiatives are especially important for Indigenous Peoples, who continue to face challenges in accessing basic services, economic opportunities, and adequate support for their communities.
As part of its continuing commitment to helping others, LNHFI donated 200 sacks of rice to the National Press Club for distribution among its journalist members. This initiative reflects the foundation’s recognition of the vital role played by members of the media, who work tirelessly to inform the public and bring important issues to the attention of society.
Under the present leadership and service, the LNHFI, with yours truly as president, will continue to extend assistance not only to members of the media but also to poor families and marginalized sectors that need support. The foundation is also prepared to provide rice assistance to Samahang Plaridel in the coming month to support its programs and help its members meet their basic needs.
However, the foundation’s mission cannot be accomplished alone. Its outreach programs are made possible through the generosity of donors, partners, and friends who share the vision of creating a society where hunger is addressed and no community is forgotten. Their continued support serves as an inspiration to expand our efforts and reach more people in need.
Ultimately, charity should not end with the distribution of food or other necessities. It must also create opportunities, restore dignity, and build hope for a better tomorrow.
The Leave Nobody Hungry Foundation Inc. will therefore continue its mission with compassion, dedication, and perseverance—bringing assistance to the underserved, empowering vulnerable communities, and working toward a future where every Filipino has food on the table, a livelihood to depend on, and the opportunity to live with dignity.
Together, let us ensure that no one is left behind and nobody goes hungry.
