Welcome the Year of the Fire Monkey at New World Makati

Yin and Yang Shop of Harmony’s resident feng shui expert, Princess Lim Fernandez, will lead the Chinese New Year’s Eve celebration at the grand ballroom of New World Makati Hotel on Feb. 7. 

The celebration, called “2016 Fire Monkey Regale,” is going to be full of activities designed to increase one’s luck in the year of the Fire Monkey.

Being with happy people gathered on the eve of the Chinese New Year helps one absorb positive human energy, or ch’i, for good luck.

The celebration will kick off with guests being given the opportunity to make their wishes at the “Peach Wishing Tree.”

Other activities follow, such as the New Year Wishing Ceremony (Can Bai), the offering of wishes, the traditional lion and dragon dance, the New Year countdown, and the explosion of firecrackers.

Guests will be then treated to carefully selected, auspicious dishes for their “First Lucky Meal” of the year. Fabulous luck, great entertainment, an insightful look at the 12 Chinese zodiac signs, and big-ticket raffle prizes await them.

Guests will also enjoy and bring home luck-enhancing gifts from the Yin and Yang Shop of Harmony, such as the 2016 feng shui diary, lucky coin, wishing pack, and auspicious peach bun.

Tickets cost P3,888 each and are available at the Yin and Yang Shop of Harmony at New World Makati Hotel.
