DTI highlights Phl creative economy at ICTICHE 2024

In pursuit of positioning the Philippines as a leading source for creative goods and services in the region and globally, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) spotlighted the country’s creative economy in the second run of International Culture, Tourism, and Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition (ICTICHE), held from June 21 to 23, 2024.

The Philippine Trade and Investment Center-Hong Kong (PTIC-HK), under the leadership of Vice Consul (Commercial) and Commercial Attaché Atty. Roberto B. Mabalot Jr., organized the Philippine delegation and exhibition that featured artworks, accessories, apparel, and various products from over 35 Filipino artists and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The PTIC-HK is dedicated to forging strategic partnerships and connections with key players in the global creative industry sector. This commitment demonstrated by our active involvement in cultural events.

Moreover, this endeavor was supported by the DTI-Cordillera Administrative Region (DTI-CAR), the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong (PCGHK), and Pasa-Kalye Creatives, the Philippine participation aimed to showcase the country’s creative industry and business opportunities in the creative sector.
