This love affair between actors Edu Manzano and Cherry Pie Picache.
After their co-starring in the ABS-CBN TV drama “Marry Me, Marry You,” Edu and Cherry Pie found each other in love even as they played estranged parents to Paulo Avelino in the teleserye.
The real score of the relationship was confirmed when Manzano admitted to TV5 newscaster Cheryl Cosim that the rumor linking him and Cherry Pie was true when the broadcaster asked him “How true” was it.
“You’re the funniest! Yes, my dear,” readily quipped Doods not only once but twice.
Then the couple went to the US with some friends but their intimacy was easily noticeable with their actuations in public like Pie leaning sweetly and smilingly at Edu’s shoulder.
Their US sojourn manifested more intimate private moments of Edu and Cherry Pie.
Nothing wrong with the romance since the two are singles after Doods wasn’t mutually following each other with social entrepreneur Iryne Garcia in social media and Pie was available long after her separation from filmmaker Gary Tria who she has a son, Nio.
Manzano was married to Vilma Santos and Maricel Soriano in two separate periods but the respective unions had been annulled since.
Later, the actor went into a relationship with model Rina Samson and they have two kids, Addie and Enzo Manzano.
Doods has a son with Vilma, namely Luis Manzano.
