Gladys Reyes still can’t believe his beloved dad is gone

Actress Gladys Reyes until this very moment hasn’t overcome her grief at the sudden loss of her dear dad Sonyer de la Cruz Reyes.

On the last night of the wake, Gladys was like it was the end of the world for her as she loves her father so much.

On the second night of the vigil, Reyes posted on her Facebook pages these thoughts: “Still I cannot believe this is happening. I knew this day would come but I guess, I will never be ready for this. Pa, I miss your voice, your jokes.”

Gladys had to be tough and strong, though.

Although her dad is gone, her mom Zeny Reyes takes care of the whole family and a symbiotic filial relations ensues. “Pa Sonyer, like what we told you, we’ll take care of Mama Zeny and PJ (Gladys’ brother who has autisim). God has been so good to us!! For now, I want everything to be perfect. You deserve the best…a grand exit,” said Gladys.

The actress has continuously thanks all those who showed concern and care during their bereavement. “Overflowing love from your family, friends and fellow INC brethren,” she cited.

The Reyeses which included Christopher Roxas, Gladys husband, were condoled by kith and kin.

My professional relationship with the Reyeses started as early as 1988 when Gladys was a member of the group Little StarBrighters of the erstwhile youth-oriented TV show “StarBrighters” hosted by the still missing popular TV host, entertainment writer, publicist and star builder Boy C. de Guia.

Gladys was always paired off with fellow StarBrighter Jun King Austria, who like her, is already married and working in an advertising company.
