The kiss that seals Lovi and Monty’s eternal love

It’s not the kisses of actors Joem Bascon in “The Other Wife” and “The Annulment”; Tom Rodriguez in “The Significant Other”; Marco Gumabao and Tony Labrusca in “Hindi Tayo Puwede,” among others, that spelled cathartic effects on actress Lovi Poe’s romance for they were reel and artifice but British beau Monty Blencowe’s real and passionate lip service that sealed her eternal love for the man she is committed to share the rest of her life with off-cam.

Lovi and Monty’s torrid lips-to-lips right after they were pronounced husband and wife was definitely not a screen test but a commitment with finality to love each other for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and to cherish till death do they part.

After an unexpected meetingwhen she had a show a couple of years before the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in Los Angeles, California, Lovi in an interview said that she didn’t easily fall for Monty but she eventually was convinced he was indeed serious about his intentions to marry her.

It was in a Malibu beach that Blencowe proposed marriage to Poe.

The rest, they say, is history.

Lovi and Monty recently got married in Cliveden House in Berkshire in the United Kingdom.

What made the actress more fulfilled about her wedding was the presence of her closest kith and kin who included her half-siblings.

Lovi—daughter of action superstar Fernando Poe, Jr. and erstwhile model and actress Rowena Moran—got special treat in her red-letter day when Senator Grace Poe, adoptive daughter of FPJ and Philippine Movie Queen Susan Roces and Ronian Poe, son of the Movie King and actress Ana Marin attended her wedding. Even if they’re extended families, they made Lovi’s day.

Meanwhile, Lovi’s talent manager Leo Dominguez and entertainment columnist Jun Lalin were around as well to witness the Poe-Blencowe nuptials.
