In his hectic schedules as arts manager in the premier state arts and culture agency, he once more unleashes selflessness as a virtue among artists by breathing in dramaturgy in the four walls of academe.
Dennis Marasigan, Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Vice-President and Artistic Director is slated to share his theater acquired and self-formulated theories and practices with students tomorrow, Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 10 am in a community college in Atimonan, Quezon.
Dennis, a celebrated and awarded film, television and stage actor, director, producer, writer, lights and sound tech, among other multitasking berths, will lecture online at the Leon Guinto Memorial Colleges in Atimonan with its Art Apprenticeship students.
Facilitated by this writer and Christian Furio, Junior High School and College Instructor of the college, Marasigan’s virtual appearance in the private academic affairs is one advocacy the arts technocrat has been doing in his free time or even in his too crowded calendar.
Dennis, aside from his corporate responsibilities is a social scientist in many of his theater arts and management skills.
He is also Theater Arts Program Head at Meridian International College (MINT College) in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and Adviser to the Mapua University TEKNO TEATRO.
Marasigan studied Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theater Arts from the University of the Philippines in Diliman.
